| This is Steven, I am 41 years old and I live in Lincolnton. I’m 5' 6", 165lbs., in good health, a non-smoker, no drugs, no diseases. I will sip on a couple drinks at a social gathering, but for the most part, I am a non-drinker. I am not a health fanatic, but I do work-out, and I am in great shape. I've been married, but have been divorced for about 5 years. My ex-wife and I are still friends. I do not have children, though I enjoy most children because I'm a bit of a kid myself. I have a BS from Va. Tech. and am originally from Mass. But I am not a typical Yankee, so don't let that scare you. I believe in God and was born Catholic, but now I would just say Christian. I enjoy water and snow skiing, learning new computer programs, dancing, reading, walking, renting a movie, playing outside, surfing the Net, writing, listening to quality music, skating, window shopping, etc. Lincolnton is close to Charlotte, about 35 miles northwest on Hwy. 27. I have held the same middle management position here for 15 years, but I am preparing to switch careers and move to Charlotte, Mecklenburg County or? I like to take at least one continuing education class each semester at Gaston College or CPCC and wouldn’t mind landing a job at UNC Charlotte. I enjoy all sorts of things except whining country music, NASCAR racing, livermush, extremely hot and muggy weather, loud crowded bars FULL of cigarette smoke, and nosy gossipy redneck mentality. I have gone the traditional route to meet someone nice: Bars, parties, volunteer work, school, plays, dances, etc. And I do meet some pleasant people, they just haven’t been the one. I like to travel and have been from Canada to Mexico and I lived in Germany for a year while an engineering apprentice. I enjoy the outdoors when the weather isn’t too hot and humid, the cold I can handle. I watch no more than 2-3 hours of TV a week, mostly stuff like "Mystery" and British Comedy taped from PBS so I can watch when it’s convenient for me.
