...picture this for me; locks of thick, lustrous hair trailing the face of an angry minotaur, rowing feverishly across a white-capped river of bubbly, refreshing club soda. Are you seeing it? That is the total opposite of what I look like. I've changed quite a bit in the last decade (mm hmm...thirty now) and I'm ready to prepare to think about the prospect of settling (kinda sorta). My favorite traits? Sense of humor, liking-to-sleep-late whenever possible, liking-to-stay-up-late-too, the ability to chuckle at one's own mistakes, being affectionate while still respecting others' time alone, loyalty, and sense of humor again. The way I see myself; I'm very friendly, I *love* to laugh, I *love* people who can make me laugh, I *love* animals and just can't trust people who don't, I'll always go into Toys R Us instead of Pier One (although I'm likin' that store...), adventurous, night-owlish, affectionate to the one person I'm with, and still will always enjoy my time alone. I've bought my own house, I have 3 pets (2 dogs, 1 cat), I'm several months out of a somewhat long-term relationship, I'm 30, I'm a firefighter/paramedic, I love *almost* all music, and I like to cook while drinking straight tequila. What? Other tidbits...favorite movies include Fandango, There's Something About Mary, Shadowlands, Before Sunrise, and the one of me when I was 5 "tinkling" by a tree (untitled). Favorite bands include Nine Inch Nails, Korn, and any Zombie, just as much as Bruce Hornsby and Peter Gabriel. I love it all except country and *most* rap. Love to hear from the all-American girl-next-door whenever you're in the neighborhood. Hey...I'll make you laugh if you have a sense of humor (love a challenge...). If I fall in love, I'll build you a treehouse. p.s.
