| I live in Somerset, New Jersey, an I recently purchased a nice townhouse, and am in the process of decorating and furnishing it.
I am a computer consultant, and have been for many years. It is a good job, and I really like what I do.
About me, well I'm in my fifties, I am 6 feet tall, and weigh about 195 lbs. I have brown hair with some gray and brown-green eyes. I've been divorced for over 13 years and I have 3 sons not living with me.
I was born and raised in Southern California, and lived there until my divorce. My parents were both from the mid-west, and so I have their mid-western values, and sense of humor.
I don't smoke, I don't use drugs, and I only drink socially, usually with dinner, or on some special occasion, I don't have any bad habits that I know of, nor do I have any emotional baggage. I guess a problem I might have, is a tendency to "hang-in-there" in a relationship long after I realize that it's not going anywhere. I just don't like to hurt people, and usually end up getting hurt myself.
I have lots of dates, but just can seem to find THE right person. I have been involved in Country Western dancing for about 12 years and that provides plenty opportunity to meet people. I am very much a "people-person", and quite at ease meeting new people, and often very quickly develop friendships. In past relationships, once the newness has worn off, it usually becomes apparent that something is missing, and therefore it doesn't work out.
I'm not a person to easily give up, so I'll keep looking until the right person comes along. I would really like to be married again. I just feel like it is more natural to be part of a couple. I guess being single is kind of like I'm incomplete.
Besides dancing, I like to do lots of things, both indoors and outdoors. I have a mountain bike, and I ride it a lot. I came to New Jersey, in the first place, in order to live in changing seasons. This way I can enjoy outdoor activities during the warm weather, and indoor activities when it's cold outside. |
