| I'm single, 60 years young, 6'2", 200#, blonde and blue, a nice tan, nice looking man, originally from the Southwest. Although I turned sixty on November 3, I still have the best buns around. I’m turned on by intelligent women who are sensuous and not afraid to take the initiative in things romantic. (Tell me what makes you feel good, darlin’. Talking is one of the most exciting aspects of making love.)
I’m in the process of quitting cigarettes and drink very rarely. I retired five years ago so I could finally go to college, so here I are, (English-Psychology Major) in the first semester of my junior year. I was recently awarded a special scholarship to University of the Pacific, where I'll study for the next two years. I won the scholarship on the basis of my writing skills and for my many hours of volunteer counseling over the years here in San Joaquin County. It is called a Community Involvement Scholarship and will enable me to finish my BA and start Graduate Studies. I'm a published author and I'm presently finishing up a novel about my life in the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta. I’m currently maintaining a 3.94 GPA.
I retired as Harbormaster of the largest marina/ resort complex in the delta, after working and living on the water for more than twenty years. I’m very spiritual, but non-religious (not anti, just non). I have also worked and volunteered as a Substance Abuse Counselor here in San Joaquin County and still give occasional AIDS education lectures in various county programs when I have time.
I like anything to do with water. I am a Scorpio and water is my element. I love all kinds of music, books, thinking and writing about my thoughts. I do some of my best thinking while fishing from the 41' houseboat on which I live. I like to cook, I like gardening and have a wonderful terrace garden on the levee to which I'm moored.
I love and respect all animals, including myself. I have two black cats, Cinder and Claymore; a Belgian (my cats say "Belching") Sheppard named Sly, all kinds of duck |
