| I'm Leisa, a Jamaican female who has been in this country for the last 20 years. I'm tall (5'7") and of medium build (well, I'm working on it) with fair complexion (as you can see from the picture). I am a basically honest and natural, easy-going person. I am a well-rounded individual who takes pleasure in the arts and literature as much as the sciences and technology. I love laying back and reading, relaxing on the beach, attending concerts, lectures and workshops, exercising and going to the gym, playing on the computer. My musical tastes include reggae and soca, R&B/soul and jazz. I like movies that focus on a romantic or social/political theme. I like books that are biographies or books that help define oneself (self-help) or books that also focus on social/political themes. I have a strong liberal political point of view, but I'm socially conservative (no body piercing for me). I am a busy college-educated professional currently working in the computer field. I am the mother of an overactive 3 year old boy (through a relationship that ended during the pregnancy).
I am seeking a man who resides in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale metropolitan area with similar professional status who is secure with himself. I prefer one who is black and of a similar ethnic background. I would like someone who who takes care of himself desires to share his life with another permanently. Being selfless, considerate and understanding is also a criteria I look for, since as that is something that my 3-year-old expects. I'm physically attracted to men not more than 10 years older/younger (but mature) than myself, at least 5'11", of dark complexion, and medium build.
