| Naturalist and author, 48, also enjoys dancing, PBS, oriental food, and long walks...especially when they're taken by people who annoy me.
But seriously, I really love walking, and noticing natural things. I lead nature hikes for several groups in the San Diego area, and was the nature columnist for a local paper You might think this is an odd thing for a physicist to be doing, but it really isn't. We like knowing how things work. My latest book is a collection of family stories that I gleaned from my father and his sister, both born in the 1910s in a Yiddish-speaking section of Brooklyn.
I really appreciate intelligence. But often that comes with tight schedules, and no time for play. If that's your situation, we can still be friends, but I'm looking for someone to "waste" a lot of time with. I believe the most important things to do are the things which bring us the most pleasure. Thomas Jefferson called it the "pursuit of happiness." When we do those things, we help others as well. I call these "natural behaviors" and base my writings and business on them. I hope you enjoy what you do most of the time. I have an open mind, but I'm particularly attracted to slim women with straight or wavy hair. I don't want to appear cruel, but I hope your cat dies soon. Sometimes I wonder if there's a single woman in San Diego without one. So, I'll assume you have a cat. I'm allergic, so I won't be able to visit you for a while. How old is he? I really do like cats, I used to have one. Now, I'm content with the foxes I share my back yard canyon with. They're dogs which act like cats. If you have strong interests in nature, writing, walking, science, wit, or just figuring things out, we'll have good times. If you're more interested in being entertained, fed, transported, and catered to, Our time together might feel uncomfortable.
The weeds and pests inadvertantly keep each other healthy by doing what they most want to do. We're like that also, if we're truely in touch with what brings us joy. "Work!" Maynard |
