| I'm looking for a best friend who I can talk to about anything. A lover & partner to make memories with. Someone who loves to laugh. I'm very straight forward & have had quite enough of the dating games.
I'm 6'1" medium build, brown hair, brown eyes. I have been told (on a good night) I'm handsome & been told quite often I'm cute but I can't see it. I love to camp, I bike or blade 5-6 times a week, love the water (I sail whenever possible with friends), I don't like crowds but I do like going out to eat, listening to good music, & slow dancing. I was a professional musician for many years and I still play guitar quite a bit. I like to write songs for my own pleasure & as an emotional release. I finally got tired of life on the road (no friends, no way to keep a relationship going) so I returned to college & got a degree in computer science. I work at UF as a coordinator of computer applications (fancy title huh). I also love to cook & have friends over for an evening of food, wine, laughter & good talk. And I am an unabashed romantic. I believe in taking care of people's feelings & I think that who you are inside is more important than the typical idea of "success". I try not to take myself too seriously & while I have strong values I'm not judgmental and I try to be open-minded. I'm a compassionate listener, have a gregarious nature and light heart, but also I am extremely down to earth. I love to meet people, and feel at ease in most social situations from campfires to formal dinning (although given the choice I'll choose the campfire).
