| I have recently left the US Navy after ten years and am now working in Maryland as a biological scientist. I choose MD as a place to live due to its educational infrastructure, but plan on moving to the West Coast within a few years. Before I was in the Navy I lived in the Pacific Northwest and I miss the relaxed, outdoors-oriented lifestyle present there. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, biking and swimming. At least once a year I undertake a weeklong backpacking trip, usually out West, though this year I had to cancel the trip due to my career change. I also enjoy the city life, going to different restaurants, seeing movies, exploring museums and public monuments, etc. |
