I'm a registered nurse by profession, a degree I acquired later in life, and I'm quite proud of that. I have a wonderful job in the psych field (four days per week, full time benefits,) which allows me plenty of time with my children and pets. I enjoy my position and the people with whom I work, but I do try to keep my personal and professional lives separate. I own my own home, which I am in the process of remodeling, and I recently had a small goldfish pond installed, something that I've always wanted, and which I am enjoying very much. One day, I hope to own a cottage on a lake, as I do love fishing and boating and the whole atmosphere of summer, but right now, that is a distant dream that I am slowly working toward. My children are obviously very important to me, but at the same time, I've come to recognize that I also need time to interact with adults. My interests are varied...going out to dinner and concerts, listening to music, going to movies occasionally (not a big obsession,) and meeting new people. I love to travel, and I'm interested in staying everywhere, from the nicest hotels to a tent in the woods--everything can be a fun new adventure. I'm interested in a gentleman who is willing to take things slow, to communicate and become friends...after that, the possibilities are endless.
