| My name is Michael, to say I am new to Colorado would not be entirly true. Heck this is at least my forth time back. (do you remember the scene in the movie the godfather part IV were Al Pacino is Saying "Everytime I get away, they find just another thing to just drag me back in?"(I am horrible with the italian accent though).
I am a native Southern California man. Grew up near Malibu and was your basic beach bum wanna be, one of my love's is of the ocean(I surf, scuva dive and wind surf). I do miss the state, still have a house out there. Not sure if I will ever sell it. I do really like the way of life out here in Colorado. The mountains and all(not real keen when it gets cold though). Plus it's a great sports town. Presently I live in an area call Ken Caryl Valley(just west of Denver by about 15miles).
The reason why I am here is simple, my parents live out here now. My dad is not in very good health and I want to be around them both. I am the oldest of 3 kids (have 2 sisters that are both here also). I am 35years old. June 1st (same day as Marilyn Monroe and Andy Griffith).
I was first here when I was engaged,She was from a small town called Antonito Colorado. Her father and her were killed by a drunk driver. This was about 12years ago. Took along time to get over that. I only mention this cuz I am always asked why am I not married or seriously involved with someone right now.
Never been married, been proposed to a few times, but it didn't feel right. This is not to say that I am afraid of the "C" word though. Honest, besides I am a man and you know we wouldn't lie to a lady. TRUST ME :)
Ended a relationship about 8 months ago. We were together for about 2 1/2years. The hardest part is that she had a little girl that I grew very attached to, and she always asks why don't I visit her anymore.
To me the main thing in a relationship is trust, to me a relationship is a two way street, a partnership. If I am lied, cheated, or betrayed then I am gone. May |
