| Okay, maybe not constantly, but she's dying for grandkids. I on the other hand am not exactly in a hurry for such
things, but would like to meet someone with whom I can share at least part my life. A little background: Most
people like me. I can be a lot of fun to be around. I'm smart, well read, funny, a little too cynical for my own
good, loyal to my friends, and fairly attractive. I am not however Gwyneth Paltrow looking for someone new
because things between Brad Pitt and I just haven't worked out. I love to cook and am quite good at it. As to my
qualifications, almost every major ex-boyfriend I've ever had has tried very hard to get me back. (And would,
I'm sure, give references upon request.). For kicks I like to hang out with my friends, go to the movies, play
guitar (badly), spend way too much time on the phone dishing, cook, read mountains of books, trying new and
interesting hair colors, contemplate getting a tattoo (which I know will never happen, but oh, the idea of it). I
also love cold weather. Largely because it gives me the oportunity to curl up on the sofa, drink hot cocoa, and
not experience a moment of guilt because I'm not outside doing something constructive. I'm looking for a fun,
funny, smart, acerbic guy with a good sense of the ironic. Someone I can be friends with. You know, a guy-guy.
He has friends to watch the Sunday game with. A leaky sink doesn't scare him. Has a decent job and can pay his
own bills. Someone who gets excited about some aspect of his life. Maybe work, maybe a hobby, maybe his kids,
but SOMETHING. A happy school teacher would be immensely preferable to a miserable Wall Street broker.
Please be in reasonable shape. Handsome is cool, but not a prerequisite. A good heart is. Oh, and the the ability
not to quake in your boots at the very mention of the word "boyfriend" would also be nice. |
