i'm 55, 5'10", 180, very professorial looking - i've been in academe most of my life, and it shows! i am the single father of three children: 9 & 11 yo girls, son 14. their mother lives in dallas, so i'm a full-time single dad. this makes me a very busy person, but i stilll find time to jog daily, cook for the kids and myself 4 - 6 days/week, and have a social life.
i love to read poetry, non-fiction, some novels, to bicycle - especially with my kids, watch college football (i went to u of michigan!), listen to music- classical, opera, jazz, blues, pop - just about anything other than heavy rock & rap, go to the theatre & movies, go to museums, zoos, amusement parks, beaches, hikes, camping, travel - my kids & i went to england and germany over last xmas and new year - etc. i like to write poetry and stories - but haven't done much lately. i also enjoy cooking & eating and dining - i consider myself a gourmet.
i am a theoretical physicist, who has done astrophysics, was a licensed clinical social worker, and now live in alameda and work at a chiropractic college, doing research into the physics of the spine and other clinical matters.
integrity is an important word for me. so are spirituality, personal growth, enlightenment, communication, and mutual support.
