| The words that best describe me are: gentle, kind, reflective, sensitive, low-key, introverted, intelligent, and friendly. I work as a psychologist. I suppose other good words would be: easygoing, good sense of humor, quiet, and talented at connecting intimately and deeply. I have always liked to read (e.g., psychology, spirituality) and write. I also like being in nature, taking walks, going to movies, thinking, taking drives in the country, and talking with one or two like-minded people. I am originally from California, 38 yrs old (look about 32), 5 foot 7, weigh about 155, and have brown hair and a short beard.
It’s hard for me to specify who I’m looking for, because I haven’t met you yet, and I don’t want to eliminate you based on a dumb detail. I would like it if you were within 150 miles (I’m willing to travel). I would like someone roughly between 28 and 39. Intelligence is important. So is a certain reflective, "spiritual" quality that is hard to put into words. It’s good if you read a lot. If you are very socially active, I would probably not be a good choice for you, since I prefer a quiet evening at home to most social events. My buttons are easily pushed by people who tend to be condescending or controlling, or who don’t listen well, so if that describes you, we wouldn’t fit well. I’m looking for someone under 200 pounds and preferably 5’ 9" or under. I guess what matters the most, though, is how we relate -- which of course we won’t know until we try. So if you would like to test the waters, please write. Thanks.
