| I've learned that there is always more to learn and find joy in learning about myself, about others and about our world. I have always been a bit of a jack-of-all-trades and have enjoyed a wide variety of interests including building a helicopter, auto racing, home improvement and numerous outdoor activities, but also enjoy food and cooking and deep, heartwaming books and movies (Nevil Shute's stories always leave me moved). I find myself now more open to a wide range of experiences than ever and love trying new things.
My 8 yr-old son is the major emotional element in my life, but there is room for more. I look forward to exploring relationship not distorted by our personal shadows, but able to grow and develop into deeper and deeper connection while retaining our individuality. I also welcome more children in my life. Much of my learning in recent years has been about the child development process and how to nurture the inherent wisdom in children rather than stiffle it. Both my son and I would love to share our lives with others.
I have a romantic streak that pushes me to write heartfelt, but probably mediocre, poetry when so motivated. I am very physically affectionate and like to do unexpected things for people I particularly care about.
