Princess wanted to rescue knight (30, 5'8", althletic, 160 pounds) from terminal loneliness. When not rescueing damsels in distress ; ) you'll find me sailing, hiking, or riding (bike, snowboard or rollerblades). Alternatively I can spend hours in a bookstore (and still not find what I want) or museum. I also play the flute and enjoy a wide variety of music (but am definately not a fan of any kind of metal or rap). Among current favorites are Nat King Cole, Diana Krall, Miles Davis, Mary Chapin Carpenter, The Beautifull South, Toto, and Mozart, Barber and Katchaturian. My character reflects my handle, social but a bit of a loner, a somewhat offbeat sense of humor sometimes at my own expense but confident and for the most part considerate. I love animals and would like to have a dog but think an apartment is no place for one especially as I would have to leave him/her alone for most of the day. I'm looking for someone who can as easily spend a night in front of a tent looking at the stars as in a theatre watching a musical or concert or in front of a fire at home (yes I am a bit of a romantic). Someone who will share my interests but has her own as well and doesn't need me around continually. Who thinks friendship is the most important part of any relationship but I can't escape the fact that for something more the chemistry has to be right.
