| As I thought about what I wanted to write, I had to really think about what would hold one's attention long enough to actually understand what I had to say. So, here it goes. I am what you may call a strong independent woman. I know how to be a friend, a best friend. Most have no idea what that actually means. Allow me to expound. To be a friend, you first must have the ability to be a friend to yourself, hence, loving yourself. You must be able to respect yourself, hence, respecting others. People say that respect is earned, I feel it is a given, until there is a reason not to respect. We must know boundries, because once respect is gone, all else follows......... So with all that said, can we be friends first?
