I am an honest person. I truly care about people and our environment. I truly believe that one should think of others as well as themself. I am a thinker, always searching for the truth and wanting to learn more. I am always willing to listen. That way I learn new things and see things from a different point of view. I am open to trying new things and ideas. I enjoy any challenging discussion. I am close to my family, even though we are spread across the country. One of my best friends is my dog, "Cisco Kid".
I lived for almost four years in Europe (Germany and then Norway). I speak Norwegian and limited German. I have traveled extensively throughout Europe. I would make an excellent tour guide since I have traveled so much. As a result, I learned so much about different cultures, languages and cuisines. The different foods that I have experienced have added to my cooking skills.
Cooking healthy and enjoying wines are hobbies. Another hobby is computers and computer based flight sims. Fall and Winter are my favorite seasons. Hiking, paintball, hockey and Cross-country skiing fill my Fall and Winter seasons. Spring and summer are filled with tennis and golf.
I enjoy time alone to reflect on my thoughts. Spending time with a special loved-one, my dog or friends however, gives me the greatest enjoyment.
What I like to do:
I love to laugh. I enjoy going for long walks in the woods with my dog and listening to the quiet sounds of the woods. I like preparing interesting meals and enjoying them with that one special person or with friends. I enjoy watching a movie that makes me think or makes me laugh. Classical music rests and renews my sole. The theatre stirs my imagination. Discussing world or local events, science or philosphy fuels my thirst for new ideas and knowledge.
I like making things, or improving things. I enjoy home construction projects woodworking or working on computer related projects.
