I like mortorcycles, airplanes, and boats---operating them, not fixing them---and I am not interested in Harleys; I think BMW and the bigger Hondas are easier on the body. I rode my bike to Seattle this past summer, spent some time hunting in the Northwest Territories. I've been a pilot for 10 years, flying low and slow and sunny days. I like traveling and have a live-aboard capable trawler on Puget Sound. I am sixty-one, six-two, about 185 pounds. I ran a few marathons about ten years ago, now I'm content with 3 to 6 mile jogs maybe three times a week. Hoping to spend more time away from work, I'm slowly leaving the work world behind and looking forward to this next adventure, a part of which will be quiet times---reading; and hopefully talking---expansive exercises. Sharing the experience could have a synergetic effect! I like to talk about people, but enjoy elevating conversations to discussions of events and ideas occassionally. I go to church regularly (25-30 times a year) and went to a church college, but I seem to have developed a liberal view of spiritual matters that leaves me quite tolerant of a broad range of religious teachings, although somewhat suspect when the power of religion (or any other discipline for that matter)relies on fundementalism. What have you done in the last year that you think defines your life and direction?
