| HI! Thanks for stopping by. My name is George and I will be your host for the next few minutes. My hope is that when you are finished reading this ad, we can become friends.
I am 38 years of age. I was born and raised in Lancaster, PA. For the past 10 years, I have lived in Arizona via the prison system. I made many mistakes in my younger days and the result was prison. I was out of control for about 8 years with drugs, alcohol, and depression. Not a pretty sight. Prison forces you to look at your life and look I did. I have grown so much. Before I came to prison, my whole life was me. I had no room for anyone. I kept all of my emotions bottled up. I never let anyone in. It wasn't until after I came to prison that I really discovered my true emotions. Most people take them for granted. About 4 years ago, I became a Christian. It was then that my heart fully opened. I am not the same person I was 10 years ago. I guess what I am saying is I want people to know me for who I am now. I want people to know the man, not the shell I was before. I 'm not perfect by any means, but I try everyday to be the best person I can be.
My main goal in life is to be a youth counselor. I want to give back. I took for so long. But that's all behind me. My life experiences have given me a special insight. It took me 30 some years to grow up. So I know what it's like. I am really interested in helping teens who are testing life and all the things that peer pressure puts on them. If I can help just one, this would all be worth it. Prison is no place to be. We have to keep our kids going in the right direction. Anyway, that's what I want to do after prison. |
