| Born and raised in East Texas. During my 2nd semester in college, I got married. We'd been married about 2 years when our daughter was born. I attended the University of Texas and I majored in Kinesiology and English. I teach at a rural 1A school in East Texas. I coach Varsity Girl's Basketball and Softball and I teach Freshmen, Sophomore, and Junior English as well as Advanced Journalism. In my free time (ha, Ha), I am the Student Council Sponsor as well as the Yearbook sponsor. When you're a first year teacher you get to do everything.
