| I'm a writer and public relations consultant in the Washington, DC area. I'm from San Diego; came to Washington because of my interest in government and politics; lived in Japan as an English teacher for three years. I'm something of a Renaissance man with a wide variety of talents and interests. I play bass guitar in '60s rock bands; speak several languages; have traveled widely in Europe and Asia and have visited every U.S. state except Alaska; just finished my second novel; and was a four-time "Jeopardy!" champion.
