| What am I *really* like? If you asked the women who know me (coworkers, friends), they would tell you, "Michael's a really nice guy". They'd tell you that I'm easy-going, am well-known for my great sense of humor, I love to joke and I still have enough little boy in me to act a bit silly now & then. The phrase, "I may be getting older but I refuse to grow up!" applies to me, but in a good way! But they would also tell you about my serious side. They would tell you I'm mature, stable, and responsible. I'm a former Air Force officer and now hold a good job I love in local government. They would tell you that I'm caring, romantic, sentimental, and respectful. Gee, the "perfect man", eh? Of course not...I have my faults, too. I am a Christian, too, albeit a far from perfect one.
If I'm young in heart and attitude, it's true physically as well. Everyone thinks I am in my 30's but are surprised to learn I'm actually in my 40's. (See photo.) I work out and pay attention to nutrition, although I'm not a fanatic about it.
My interests? The Top 3 are probably: 1) Flying (I am a Private Pilot); 2) Cooking (I love to watch cooking shows, collect cookbooks, and try new & wonderful things); and 3) Travel. Others are camping, fishing, scuba, movies, Las Vegas shows, fine arts, politics & issues, and computers/internet. My taste in music is very broad, but I favor jazz, classical, new age, and the old "crooners". Do you like Andreas Vollenweider or Ottmar Liebert? Sinatra or Fitzgerald?
Family means a LOT to me, and even though I'm divorced, I stay closely involved with my 3 young sons because they are the world to me! If you have no problem with that, I certainly have no problem if you have children, too. In fact, I dream of having another child when I find & marry that Special Woman.
What I need in a woman is someone who is affectionate, romantic, giving, who makes me feel desired and loved---and who wants all these from her man, too. She should be intelligent, have a sense of humor, be easy- |
