| 6'0" 175lbs 43 EYES: hzl HAIR: Originally brown, now mostly grey...it's been suggested that I dye my hair...I decided not to...I figure, this way if I worry ... it won't show.
I'm a single dad. I have full custody of my 7yr. old daughter and 4yr. old son. The million dollar question is "how did a man end up with his kids". By default ! ...how else does a man get custody of his kids?
We've been on our own for over 2+yrs now. With what I've learned in the last 2 yrs. I could write a book. I'd call it "Things that single dad's should know, that women are keeping secret". Let me explain... did you know that you can only fill up the cup cake pans 1/2 way ? My 1st attempt I filled them to the brim. My daughter said "Dad what's wrong with these cup cakes" I said "They're called 'TEXAS MUFFINS'...now shut up and eat them".
Now...is it just me or do you find yourself repeating a list of commands to the kids over and over and over...like 'shut up and eat' or how about 'pick that room up' etc. I've been thinking about getting the kids a little walkman, make a tape of all the things I continually repeat... put it on them after they fall asleep (like a foreign language course)...then when they wake up, they'll start picking up their room and have no idea why they feel compelled to do so. If you work for DHS...Just Kidding!!! :o)
So I don't know where they come from, but one day I discovered I had eyes in the back of my head. I always wondered how mom knew what we were doing when she was looking the other way :o)
Were you aware the you can't wash colors in hot water ? All the stuff that had white in it...was now pink. My daughter thought it was cool...but the boy and I just looked at each other...as if to say "I'm not wearing these out in public".
