I am a contradiction of terms, mercurial, and unequivocally sui generis. If you have managed to read this far without moving your lips then keep reading. I have a quick wit which runs the gamut from sly to shy; and, while my sense of humour can be as dry as a martini, I am not usually sighted in a bar. I am intelligent and savvy, yet can be exceedingly naive in a charming sort of way. I tend to hover between girlish awkwardness and ladylike sophistication. My close friends will aver that I am warm, giving, compassionate, non-pretentious, well-grounded, exercise restraint in judgement, blush glowing pink when flustered and have a keen mind. They will also tell you that I possess patience (often in abundance) ... alas, I only notice I have it when I am close to losing it. While my tastes and material wants are simple in nature, my desires and needs are -- by their very character -- complex. My personal and professional accomplishments are not only a source of pride, but also a measure of my sense of responsibility, my perseverance, my determination, and a tolerant acceptance of myself. In no particular order, I like jazz, museums, amusement, books, theatre, reading, mischief, The Met on Friday evenings, chai, people watching, Debussy, surprises, flights of fancy, glossy magazines, skewing the results on surveys, quiet, sighs, and the cold. I also find myself guilty of intellectual and physical wanderlust ... how about embarking on an adventure together? I am looking for a man whose intellect I admire, whose political views are confluent with mine, and whose very being incites concupiscence within my heart, mind and soul. Ideally, you would share some of my interests, but you would also be able to teach me something new; and, I would, hopefully be able to reciprocate. You should be able to communicate effectively and coherently ... although, in some situations a slurred word and an inarticulate groan or two would be more than appreciated.
