| Missing Slipper in Marin
I danced all night and towards the end of the evening, met a gentleman I felt was meant for me. Passionately, we danced, and I lost my slipper. The next morning, I realized it was just a dream, but then saw on my floor the other slipper. This man of my dreams must have the other one. I remember he was a gentleman with class, clean-shaven, 5'10" or taller, dressed very nicely, professional, financially well off, and spoke eloquently as a man of higher education. I liked the way he could balance his social and professional life. He also seemed like a man that would be available mind and time wise for a serious relationship.
I found myself wondering if this "dream gentleman" found me just as interesting. I'm zealous about my life, and full of energy. This exuberance is with me when I teach high risk teens, dance, bike, swim, go boating, do yoga, read a book, play bridge, learn golf, work in the garden or try anything new. I'm a. spirited lady who is compassionate, passionate, open, organized, and at times, practical out of necessity. Optimism dominates my life as well as trust. Living for the moment and appreciating special ones prevail in my daily routine. Give me a sunset or sunrise, a smile, a rose, a student's nod of understanding, or just an unspoken moment and my day is complete. Family and friends are very vital and so is establishing a meaningful relationship with whoever you are. I'm open and anticipate new experiences and discoveries. My financial comfort will enable me to retire early and enjoy new places and things in life.
