| I spend my time appreciating what’s real: crystal icicles on the tree outside my window; petting my fluffy white cat’s fur that feels like thick silk; walking in the sand looking for shiny pieces of beach glass and heart shaped rocks and listening to the beach music made by the ocean’s waves; holding hands with my eight year old niece while hiking in the woods; listening to a friend with all of my heart and soul.
Everyone I know says that I have a big heart.
I love to laugh, have fun, dance to live music and have a good time. I love being around people, yet have learned to appreciate my quiet times. Just sit me under a tree in the woods by a waterfall or on a beach watching the waves and I am content. I guess it’s moving water that always brings me inner peace. Anyway, nature fills me up... along with holding hands, kissing, hugging and touching at just the right moment. I like to find a balance between work and play.
I’m a hard worker but I love to play, which is reflective of the profession I’m in. I teach first grade and I love to see the excitement on children’s faces when they are learning something new. I love their innocence, honesty and innate goodness.
I have two grown daughters, one is married and the other one is engaged to be married. My children call me their, “Rock and Roll Mama."
What am I looking for?
This person has to be someone who values the same things I do. Someone who is tuned into his own feelings and not afraid of expressing them honestly.
Since I love to laugh, I’d like someone who can help me find the humor in all things especially when it’s hidden. I’d like someone who understands the meaning of the word Respect.
