Born 5/7/48 in NY and spent most of my formative years in Westchester County. Ohio State for undergrad and Veterinary School before returning to NY. Practiced in Westchester for 27 years, where I owned three animal hospitals with a large staff and very long hours. A small town boy at heart, given the opportunity to sell and retire at an early age, without hesitation that’s exactly what I did. For the last twenty years or so, I always had a vacation home in a small town to escape to whenever the opportunity arose. First in Dover, Vt (then a skier), next Stockbridge, MA (home of Tanglewood and the Boston Symphony’s summer home) and then Sedona (visited frequently for six years) until moving here permanently in May of 2000. Now I’m in heaven – small town, beautiful surrounding and wonderful people, not to mention the great climate.
Of personal interest: divorced since 1988, one son, 26 living just outside of San Francisco (and my closest friend); 5’7” and 150 pounds; in good shape with brown hair and brown eyes.
For fun I like to do many things a few of which I’ll list here to get us acquainted a little better. Photography is a passion and I am truly very good. I enjoy friends, small groups (especially BBQ’s on my patio) - fine dining, movies (home and the theatre), going to the cultural park for concerts (especially like classical and oldies), long drives, travel (recently did eight weeks in France, Greece and then OR, WA and BC), sports cars, gallery visits and museums and so much more you’ll just have to meet me to find out. I also enjoy hiking in Sedona (though I’m not an avid hiker), occasional bike riding and walking.
In a mate I’m looking for that one in a million gals. The last one I’ll ever have to date, who will make me happy (and I hope to make her happy too) forever. I’m looking for someone who is high spirited, intelligent, has diverse interests, loves togetherness and is also independent, is attractive and in good physical shape, and attractive (in the eye of the beholder).
