I am 36 years old. Mother of a 13-year-old son. Widowed since 3/18/2000. I am a born-again Christian and have known Jesus as my Lord and Saviour since I was 20 years old. I go to church on a regular basis (at least once a week if not more) and am active in the choir ministry. I love to sing and make merry not only in the church choir but at home where I put on Praise and Worship music sometimes and do the housework by singing around the house and dancing. I like to have fun. In fact, I yearn to find a friend first in which to have fun with...to be able to go out and do new things together and to do old things like take long walks together, talk and get to know one another. I don't judge people. I don't criticize even when they're doing something that is wrong. I don't do that because that's the Lord's job. Not mine. My job is to straighten myself up not to straighten up that someone special--friend or more. I have a good sense of humor. Guess I got that from my late husband who learned that it was in laughing at the little things in life and even the big things (like his illness) that gets us through.
