| To be honest, I completely "dropped out" of the dating scene more than 10 years ago. The reason is quite simple--almost every woman I met or had a relationship with was a dead-end--a true waste of time and energy. This means that I have not had any kind of an intimate relationship with a woman for more than 10 years, meaning that I have remained celibate for all this time. If you think this is weird, then don't read any further. I'm currently very single--a professional writer (essays, independent scholarship, articles on history, English/American lit, horror cinema, etc.). But since turning 51, I have decided to give it another try. Physically, I'm quite fit for my age--slim build and well-proportioned. As to the woman I'm seeking--she must be able to sit down and hold an intelligent conversation on a variety of topics--I absolutely detest competitive sports--a total waste of time.
