I began my search, like most, at a young age. Dreaming of that special someone and hoping to find her waiting to find me. I thought the "white house, picket fence, and puppy dog," were a reality. Many years later, several missed opportunities, and several more "gray hairs" my search, and dream still endure. Am I a hopeless romantic? I don't know about hopeless, but still very much the romantic. I suppose in a "perfect" world, the perfect woman would be nice, but we don't live in a perfect world do we? I'm certainly not picky, but someone intelligent, attractive, and sincere would be nice. I usually lean towards petite women, but it's certainly not imperative. As far as myself is concerned...I am a kind and sensitive individual who looks at life with wide open eyes. I dislike however, when my kindness is mistaken for weakness, but this happens on occasion and there isn't much one can do. I am a "gentleman's gentleman" for the most part and know how to treat a lady. I live alone, like my solitude, and I'm extremely independent. I keep a real neat place, but I'm certainly not "fanatical". I would like my significant other to be similar, but that's something that can be worked out at a later time. A warm cozy atmosphere (possibly in a nice restaurant), with a pretty & intelligent lady, closing with a possible midnight stroll, are some of the things my "ideal" night would include...with a horse drawn carriage as an added bonus. A few of things I enjoy, would be traveling (especially when it's spur of the moment), walks along the beach, finding great antique shows & flea markets, and the "rent a video" at home thing as well. I love children, and hope to someday have my own. I come from an Italian family, that is very strong and unified, so not having children is something I constantly get reminded about.
