| Not into the bar scene? That's great, because we might otherwise never have met! I'm an old fashioned romantic with poems and kisses to share. I'm new to the Bay area, recently arrived via Tennessee (and previously, Chicago). I'm trim, attractive and have a huge sense of humor. Most would consider me very outgoing, but I do have a quiet contemplative side, particularly when I'm star gazing or hand holding with the one I love. I am traditional in values and tend to be conservative. Although I'm a non-smoker, non-drinker and don't use drugs, social drinking is fine with me. And, while I haven't been a churchgoer for some time, I do have strong faith in God and hope you do, too. I enjoy many of the customary things--nature, camping, reading and movies. I've had an interesting life so far and would like to share the best to come with someone special. I'm looking for a physically fit, down-to-earth lady who loves to laugh. A cuddler is a big plus. I'm incredibly easy to talk to, so don't be shy about writing. You won't be disappointed. I hope you like the following poem, which I wrote to express my thoughts about life and love. Let me know what you think.
"When it comes to love, we often search for an ideal;
When what we need is someone honest, caring and real.
We may seek perfection, or make money our measure;
While life passes us by, leaving no memories to treasure.
One day the path of someone special we all shall cross;
Yet if we are looking elsewhere, it will be our greatest loss.
The love of our life may be just hours or minutes away;
Waiting for us to open our eyes and see the light of day.
That which we first sought, and the true love we finally get
Often turn out to be life's greatest surprise and joy yet.
Life is so very short, and real love far too sweet;
On this day our paths may cross, so be ready, as we may soon meet." |
